Finally….Spring has arrived! I know this because my allergies are in full force. I haven’t posted in a while, there’s been a lot going on. Since switching gears and becoming an active Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, I’ve been having tons of fun. I held 3 workshops at home, one of which was a kid’s crafting class. I decided it was appropriate to focus on the 2015 Occasions Spring Catalogue for the workshop I held on Friday. Here’s a look at the cards we made:
I am so happy the butterfly thinlit dies are back! They were such a hot ticket item, Stampin’ Up! couldn’t even keep up with the demand.
Cardstock: Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla and Calypso Coral
Ink: Crumb Cake, Early Espresso
Stamp set: Butterfly Basics
Other: Butterfly thinlit dies, gold sequin trim
And just in time for Mother’s day…
Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black and Bermuda Bay
Ink: Memento, Pear Pizzazz, Bermuda Bay and Soft Sky
Stamp set: A Mother’s Love
Other: Decorative dots embossing folder, Tea lace paper doilies, Rhinestone basic jewels, and Thick baker’s twine in Soft Sky
The next two cards were case-d from my friend Zahra at My Pretty Inkspirations. I switched up the colour of the baby bumblebee card and added a shiny heart.
Cardstock: Whisper White and Wisteria Wonder
Stamp set: Baby bumblebee and Teeny tiny wishes
Punches: Scalloped tag topper punch and Itty bitty accents punch
Other: Honeycomb embossing folder, Sweet dreams DSP, Basic metal buttons, silver glimmer paper and Whisper white twine
I didn’t change one thing in Zahra’s Sheltering Tree card…it was simply too pretty…in fact, hers are always pretty 🙂
Cardstock: Blushing Bride, Early Espresso and Whisper White
Ink: Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride
Stamp set: Sheltering Tree
Other: Blushing bride baker’s twine and Pearl basic jewels
My next workshop will be in June, and that my friends is when Stampin’ Up! releases its new annual catalogue. As demonstrators, we got a sneak peek and it’s looking mighty fine…I can’t wait to get my hands on the new stuff!!!!
As always, if you are interested in attending a workshop or hosting one in the comfort of your own home, gimme a shout!
