Kids-themed birthday cards

Happy Monday friends! I recently had a private workshop where the hostess requested children’s birthday cards. It’s not often I get this request, so I was happy to oblige!

We typically make 4 cards at my workshops and here is what I came up with:

The first card is actually my favourite. I love the tiny little mermaid. The stamp set is called Message in a Bottle. I wish I took a picture of the inside of the card – it says “make a splash!” and there’s a cute lil octopus stamped in it. A touch of shimmer with wink of stella finishes off the mermaid tail perfectly!

The next card is perfect for a dinosaur lover! I love lemon lime twist together with dapper denim.

The Pieces & Patterns suite in the annual catalogue has a little something for everyone. The designer series paper is super fun and playful!

And finally, the concept for the last card was inspired by Stephanie Pike in Australia. You can check out her version here. I added a balloon, switched up the colours and embossed the basic grey piece in the middle.

They’re all so much fun…let me know which is your favourite?
