Hey there friends! I’m happy to share yet another card using the Myths & Magic stamp set with you. Everyone loves a mermaid, but we can’t overlook the other stamps in this set, like this itty bitty seahorse. He’s a cutie don’t ya think?
I made a variation of this card for a swap I participated in, but then changed it up for my Sale-a-bration kick off party a few weeks ago. This time I used a sheet from the Sweet Soirée Specialty Designer Series Paper. The DSP is beautiful and very botanical in design but I thought that this print could also pass as waves. I used my Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Write marker to colour the mermaid’s body and my Stampin’ Blends to colour her skin (Ivory and Dark Pink Pirouette) and hair (bronze). Of course, every mermaid needs a touch of glitter – enter my good friend, Wink of Stella. Some adhesive backed sequin stickers finish off the card perfectly!
