Hi friends!
I held my second Stamp Camp last Saturday in Markham. For some reason I also scheduled my daughter’s birthday party on the same weekend, the day after stamp camp. Epic blunder – never to be repeated. Anyway, in good news: I survived (just barely) and both events were a success (BIG sigh of relief).
Over the next little while, I’ll be showing you all the cards we over the course of an afternoon.
Here’s the first:
I love these colours together. I haven’t used yellow on anything in a while, so it was nice to welcome it back. Those who know me, know that I like using circles on my cards. I know I do it a lot, but I couldn’t help myself. All circles were cut using the Stitched Shapes framelits with my Big Shot. The Designer Series Paper is called Petal Passion – the entire pack is filled with stunning black and white prints. The embossing folder is from the same suite. The flower is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set; a definite favourite of mine from the Occasions catalogue. It has a Rifle Paper Co vibe to it – who I’ve been obsessed with for a long time. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but a few clear epoxy shapes were used to complete the look.
Stay tuned for card # 2 – coming soon…
