Big news! The sun is finally out! We have had 2 consecutive days of sun. It’s been grey and dreary for so many weeks, it was really getting to me. Dare I say it, but it is almost starting to feel like Spring is on its way (ok, I likely just jinxed it). Anyway, the next card I’m sharing, showcases the Lots of Lavender Sale-a-bration stamp set. I was inspired by a card by Tanja Kolar and adapted it to create this card. There were a LOT of card stock layers required for this card (7 to be exact), but in the end, it was a favourite for many who attended stamp camp.
Wisteria Wonder is not a colour I use too often, but it really is pretty, and reminds me of Spring. I wish you could see the clear epoxy shapes (dew drops) added on top of the lavender flowers for a subtle touch of shine. My photography skills are seriously lacking, yikes. Interesting fact: If you let me, I would put linen thread on every card.
I used my Pear Pizzazz and Crumb Cake markers to colour in the leaves and bow. The tiny dots were taken from the Petal Palette stamp set and the sentiment is from the Perennial Birthday stamp set. Only 2 cards from Sleepy Owl Stamp Camp left to share. Thanks for sticking with me thus far!
