Myths & Magic Stamp-a-Stack

Hi friends! I held a stamp-a-stack last week featuring products from the Myths & Magic suite. I had 8 people sign up so you can tell it’s a popular suite. Let’s just jump right in because I have a lot to show you!
Each guests received some cute on-theme chocolates that I snagged up from Winners (thanks to my friend Lorraine who pointed them out). Aren’t they just the cutest?

The class included a pack of the Myths & Magic designer series paper so I had to make sure to incorporate this into as many of the cards as possible. The first card featured the unicorn and was cased from Jo Hooper, The Crafty Crafter.

I didn’t change much to this already spectacular card. My favourite part is the dazzling diamond clouds! I use the Up and Away framelits for the clouds, and coloured the mane with Powder Pink, Pool Party and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write Markers. Wink of Stella finished it off nicely.

The next card featured a dragon and I cased this card from the lovely Mary Fish. I wanted to add a background that resembled a castle for my version, so I embossed the Smoky Slate layer with the bricks embossing folder.
I rarely use Pumpkin Pie as a colour for anything (except during Fall) and so it was nice to incorporate this colour with Bermuda Bay and Basic Black. This is a combo I never would have thought to do.

The third card is my favourite one….shocking that it features a mermaid! I took my inspiration from Kim Oliver (KO Creations Cards). I didn’t use DSP for this card oddly enough but it had a lot going for it already. Guests created their own so to speak using a shell stamp from the set Seaside Shores. Here’s the card they made in class…
I decided to show guests an alternative they could do at home using Gold Glitter Flakes and fine tip glue pen for the mermaid’s body.

And finally, the last card featured a cute little knight. There was a lot of Big Shot prep required for this card, but I think the tiny stitched squares are adorable. I used Wink of Stella (technically on every single card) but it was needed here the most for the knight’s sword.

I like to raffle a prize at the end of each of my classes. This time I was inspired by Melinda Whittington who posted about an adorable set of note cards. I coloured them all using my Stampin’ Blends. I cannot stop colouring you guys, I’m addicted!
I decided to package them up using our gold and white striped bags, dressed up with a mermaid and some bling.

Thanks once again to all who attended this magical night! I can’t wait for the next!
