The Easter bunny came early!
Yesterday, the girls asked me to make a bunny card with them. I have so much beautiful foiled Sale-a-bration paper (I stocked up) that we put it to good use with this card. NOTE: There is only one more day to get your hands on this gorgeous foil paper.
We decided that ovals were a must in order to represent an egg. We used the Flourish thinlits for a delicate detail behind the bunny. My youngest likes to heat emboss everything, so I could not disappoint with the sentiment. The girls used sponge daubers to colour the doily in Blushing Bride. Here is a closer look. The bunny was fussy cut (it is so obvious because of all the wrinkles haha). We took this bunny from the We Must Celebrate stamp set and coloured him in with some Stampin’ Blends.
While it took a fair bit of time to create this card (likely because there were 3 pairs of hands involved), I love how simple and elegant it looks. The girls were quite pleased and as you know, that’s all that matters. Happy Easter my friends!
