Could it be starting to feel like Spring at last??? I shall speak no further of this for fear of jinxing it. I shall however, speak of a very popular class I held recently…so popular that I held it 3 times! The class featured the Family & Friends stamp set from the 2019 Occasions catalogue. That’s me and my family pictured above. I stamped the letters/text using the Make a Difference stamp set from the annual catalogue. I love that it has cursive font in both upper and lowercase. Many people have asked me where I found the frames. They were from Michaels, and I say “were” because they were a seasonal item and are now impossible to find (at least in Canada). I went to 8 different locations and basically cleaned them out, but perhaps you will have luck at your local store?? I also found these adorable mini frames which were a gift for my class attendees. I hope they liked them, cuz I sure do!

As I already mentioned, guests also got to make 2 cards using their stamp set which was included in the class. Both these cards were inspired by Cindy Baughman, a demonstrator from Hawaii. The first is a super cute hula dancing girl! I love that Cindy used our Leaf ribbon to make a grass skirt on her version. I totally had to do the same on mine! I added a Whisper White layer and embossed it using the Subtle Embossing folder. It’s so subtle, you can’t even tell in the picture below lol. I also used a pattern from the Tropical Escape designer series paper stack for the perfect backdrop.

The second card is made for a little girl’s birthday. Even more so if she’s into ballet. The tutu is made from our Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon. I coloured her top using Clear Wink of Stella to add additional shine.
