Welcome Sale-a-bration! The gang’s all meer!

It’s the start of Sale-a-bration, hooray! I’m jumping right in by sharing one of my favourite freebie offerings this year. It’s a stamp set called “The Gang’s All Meer”.

Aren’t these meerkats just the sweetest?! Also major bonus points for adding the cactus image, I do love my cacti!
I participated in a couple of swaps and thought I’d share one with you. It is a fun one featuring the stamp set.

I used Granny Apple Green for my card base. I created my own background on a layer using the cactus and lizard stamp. I then had tons of fun colouring the meerkats in with my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends combo. A little Flirty Flamingo on the cheeks and a coordinating party hat on the one at the end completes the look. The sentiment was heat embossed on Basic Black cardstock to add some pop.

Here’s another card I made with the meerkats, and I got my inspiration from Artisan Design Team Member Jackie Aitken (Jaxx Crafty Creations). For this card, I had to fussy cut these cute little guys out. Not something I want to mass produce if you get what I’m saying 😉

The card base for the above card is Sahara Sand, with a layer of Basic Black. I used Coastal Cabana for the sentiment and Granny Apple Green and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends to colour in the cacti. Once again, I went with Flirty Flamingo party hats for a pop of pink.
