We’re on to another week, and therefor another card I’d like to share from my Sleepy Owl Stamp Camp. This card features products from the Hydrangea Hill suite shown below.
I decided to go with a Purple Posy card base because it coordinates so perfectly with the Designer Series Paper. Stamp camp participants received the Pretty Perennials stamp set, so my card had to use a sentiment from that set in lieu of the Hydrangea Haven stamp set that is part of the suite. I decided to cut the DSP in a different way than I normally do for a fun new look.
I used a Misty Moonlight stitched rectangle to pick up the colour in the Designer Series Paper. I used adhesive sheets and cut out the stem so that it was easy to adhere it to the card (no messy wet glue marks for the win!). I went to town with my Wink of Stella all over the hydrangea and added some basic pearls for some pizzazz. I unravelled some white twine to create a softer, more delicate bow.
One of my talented team members, Brenda Montesano, created a bunch of beautiful samples to demo at stamp camp which featured more products from the suite. I can’t wait to share them with you all soon!
