It’s Friday Junior! (aka Thursday) and I’m sharing a card to make you dream about vacation. I’m not trying to be mean, but we could all use some beach vibes right about now. If you already live near a beach then LUCKY YOU and please invite me over! This card was one we made at Sleepy Owl Stamp camp and features products from the Sand & Sea suite shown below.
I cased the catalogue for my design and wanted to be sure to use all the products in the suite. The Seashells 3D embossing folder is a beauty all on its own and looks beautiful in any colour. I used Sahara Sand for my card.
Don’t you just love this sentiment? “Friends are like seashells…you collect them along the way”. I love how the font switches too – it’s a nice touch! I used Soft Suede and stamped the sentiment onto a stitched rectangle I cut out.
I should note that I used the Smooth Sailing dies from the Annual Catalogue to cut out the seaweed from this gorgeous Pearlescent Specialty Paper. Opal rounds finish off the card nicely as they look like tiny drops of water. And don’t you just love the sea shell stickers?!
I can almost smell the salt water and sand. Vacation: until we meet again…
