Sleepy Owl Stamp Camp was so much fun on the weekend! We had fabulous time making 10 cards using our Sweet as a Peach stamp set. That was the set provided in participant goodie bags. Speaking of goodie bags, guests received a delicious locally made chocolate with Fuzzy Peach candies in it. Sounds so odd, but founder and chocolatier Mel J at Choclodeeziac insisted it was a combination that worked. I tried it and she was RIGHT! I hope everyone felt the same way. Inside the box was 4 peach scented tea lights (which made my basement smell heavenly for days as I was packing bags) and a roll of Pale Papaya ribbon. Also included were some genial gems and a pack of the new twine in 5 colours.

So staying on theme for the day, here’s the first card we made. The layout was inspired by Patty Bennet.

I chose to stamp directly on the Peach Designer Series Paper to add some interest. A soft and subtle background was created using a Blending Brush and Pale Papaya ink. The tiny flowers were the perfect addition to the card, finished off with some Genial Gems in the centre! By the way, the flowers were cut from the Hydrangea Dies. I love the blue and peach colour combo and we all know stripes and polka dots work well together too! I hope you enjoyed this card. See what I used to make it below.
